Unexpected find out in the Poconos, this was a simple shakshuka in a spot that I expected mostly bar food.
They added their own home made flatbread - four small pieces - and they were undercooked, so that detracted a bit from the experience.
I appreciated that this wasn't simply a tomato sauce with some eggs on top - the eggs appeared to be cooked in the sauce, but the eggs were cooked hard - possibly due to sitting under a heat lamp while waiting for the flatbread? Hard to say.
Would come to this location again, but probably not for the shakshuka.
Needs anything else?
Is it considered shakshuka? 👍
