The menu lists this as "Zalouk Shakshuka".
The eggplant is riced into the sauce, not cubed/fried, so it's subtle. So subtle I asked the waiter if there was actually any in the dish.
The eggs were poached perfectly, but not cooked in the sauce, which is a no-no.
Overall, delicious dish but somewhat missed the mark for me on the Shakshuka front.
Needs anything else? Came with a mini challah roll and delicious hummus. Needed more bread or pita for the amount of sauce.
